Yinbai (SP1)

Yinbai (SP1), “Hidden White”, is a point on the Spleen meridian. It is point 1 of the 21 on the channel. Jing-Well of the Spleen: contains the Blood (stops deficiency-type bleeding), strengthens the Spleen and calms the Shen.

At the medial corner of the big-toe nail, 0.1 cun from the nail corner.

What its classification means

Well point (井, jǐng)

It is the first or last point of the channel, at the tip of a finger or toe, where tradition says the Qi “wells up”. It is credited with a rapid effect and has been used to clear heat and in acute situations.
