Eye Strain Relief
Release vision and reduce digital fatigue with release therapy

Digital Eye Strain Therapy
In the digital age, our eyes are constantly overstimulated. This technique works on Gallbladder and Stomach meridian points around the eyes, releasing accumulated tension and nourishing the Gan (Liver), which in TCM governs the eyes.
Benefits attributed to it
- Reduces screen-induced eye fatigue
- Relieves tension headaches
- Improves blood circulation around eyes
- Relaxes eye muscles
- Reduces dark circles and puffiness
The Eyes in Chinese Medicine
The Liver opens into the eyes. Liver blood nourishes the eyes and enables vision. Overuse (screens) consumes Liver blood causing dryness, blurry vision and fatigue. Local points around the eyes improve local circulation while distal points nourish the Liver.
The Liver stores blood and opens into the eyes. When Liver blood is abundant, eyes are well nourished and vision is clear.
Local point by the inner eye corner. Name means 'Bright Pupil'. Meeting point of multiple Yang meridians.
Extra-meridian point on the temple. 'Great Yang' - disperses heat and wind, relieves headaches and eye problems.
