Shenzhu (GV12)
Shenzhu (GV12), “Body Pillar”, is a point on the Du Mai (Governing Vessel). It is point 12 of the 27 on the channel. Diffuses the Lung, strengthens the body and calms the Shen.
Location
In the back, in the depression below the T3 spinous process, on the posterior median line.

Diffuses the Lung, strengthens the body and calms the Shen. A classical tonification point for children.
