Zhiyang (GV9)
Zhiyang (GV9), “Extremity of Yang”, is a point on the Du Mai (Governing Vessel). It is point 9 of the 27 on the channel. Drains Damp-Heat, resolves jaundice and unbinds the chest.
Location
In the back, in the depression below the T7 spinous process, level with the inferior angles of the scapulae.
