Jingqu (LU8)
Jingqu (LU8), “Channel Ditch”, is a point on the Lung meridian. It is point 8 of the 11 on the channel. Jing-River of the Lung: descends Qi, diffuses the Lung and eases the throat.
Location
On the anterolateral aspect of the forearm, 1 cun above the wrist crease, between the radial styloid process and the radial artery.

- Cough
- Asthma
- Sore throat
- Fever without sweating
- Wrist pain

What its classification means
Fourth of the transport points: the Qi “moves” with greater volume. It is traditionally related to cough, dyspnea and changes in the voice.
Precautions
Avoid the radial artery, which runs immediately lateral to it.
