Mingmen (GV4)
Mingmen (GV4), “Gate of Life”, is a point on the Du Mai (Governing Vessel). It is point 4 of the 27 on the channel. Stores original Yang.

Below the spinous process of L2, on the posterior midline.

Stores original Yang. Strengthens the Mingmen Fire, tonifies Kidney Yang, benefits essence and marrow, warms the Lower Burner. Essential for Yang constitutional deficiency.
