Digestion in TCM

Zusanli (足三里 - ST-36)

Stomach He-Sea point. 'Three miles of the leg'. Tonifies Qi and Yang.

Sanyinjiao (三阴交 - SP-6)

Meeting of Spleen, Liver, Kidney. Nourishes blood, regulates Spleen.

Zhongwan (中脘 - CV-12)

Stomach Mu point. Harmonizes Stomach and Spleen.

  1. Zusanli (ST-36) Bilateral

    ST-36 is the most important point for tonifying the digestive system.

    SP-6 nourishes and regulates Spleen.

  3. Zhongwan (CV-12) - Abdominal Massage

    CV-12 in epigastrium. Circular massage to harmonize.

    • Clockwise to harmonize

After Digestive Protocol

  • Drink warm water
  • Avoid cold foods 30 min

Contraindications

  • Avoid SP-6 in pregnancy
  • CV-12 caution with active gastric ulcer
