Qihaishu (BL24)

Qihaishu (BL24), “Sea of Qi Shu”, is a point on the Bladder meridian. It is point 24 of the 67 on the channel. Tonifies original Qi, strengthens the lower back and regulates menstruation.

Location

In the lumbar region, level with the lower border of the L3 spinous process, 1.5 cun lateral to the posterior median line.

Back-Shu point (背俞, bèi shū)

In the lumbar region: deep needling may reach the kidney.
