Xiaochangshu (BL27)

Xiaochangshu (BL27), “Small Intestine Shu”, is a point on the Bladder meridian. It is point 27 of the 67 on the channel. Back-Shu of the Small Intestine: separates the clear from the turbid and drains Damp-Heat from the lower Jiao.

Location

On the sacrum, level with the first posterior sacral foramen, 1.5 cun lateral to the median sacral crest.

Functions according to tradition
