Guanyuanshu (BL26)

Guanyuanshu (BL26), “Origin Pass Shu”, is a point on the Bladder meridian. It is point 26 of the 67 on the channel. Strengthens the lower back, regulates the lower Jiao and benefits urination.

Location

In the lumbar region, level with the lower border of the L5 spinous process, 1.5 cun lateral to the posterior median line.

Back-Shu point (背俞, bèi shū)

In the lumbar region: deep needling may reach the kidney.
