Shuifen (CV9)
Shuifen (CV9), “Water Divide”, is a point on the Ren Mai (Conception Vessel). It is point 9 of the 24 on the channel. Separates the clear from the turbid, drains oedema and stops diarrhoea.
Location
On the upper abdomen, 1 cun above the umbilicus, on the anterior median line.
