Shangqiu (SP5)

Shangqiu (SP5), “Metal Mound”, is a point on the Spleen meridian. It is point 5 of the 21 on the channel. Jing-River of the Spleen: transforms Dampness, strengthens the Spleen and frees the ankle.

Location

On the medial aspect of the foot, anteroinferior to the medial malleolus, midway between the tuberosity of the navicular and the malleolus.
