Taiyi (ST23), “Supreme Unity”, is a point on the Stomach meridian. It is point 23 of the 45 on the channel. Harmonises the Stomach and calms a Shen agitated by Heat and Phlegm.
Location
On the upper abdomen, 2 cun above the umbilicus, 2 cun lateral to the anterior median line.
