Renying (ST9)

Renying (ST9), “Welcome of Man”, is a point on the Stomach meridian. It is point 9 of the 45 on the channel. Regulates Qi and Blood, benefits the throat and descends rebellious Qi.

Location

Level with the laryngeal prominence, 1.5 cun lateral to the midline, on the anterior border of the sternocleidomastoid, over the carotid artery.
